Choose your fabric color and percentage of shade, (woven cloth can have color variations and weave size within the fabric). Each comes with a 3-piece rod set that is 40" tall or leave out the center section for 24" of height. You can tilt your shade holder to any angle using the included set screws. We've had our Circle Shade-A-Rella up for about a month. So far it's working well. Provides some hot sun relief for a young lantana plant so the leaves aren't wilting.
We've also had some very heavy rains and the Shade-A-Rella has stayed in place with no issues. Happy with the purchase.
Please keep your manufacturing in the USA.
This was great... however.... my reason for purchase is to shade a birdbath, which is why I bought the biggest one in diameter offered. Concept was great. The problem came with the size being top-heavy for the metal rod. The metal rod seemed simply not strong enough for the weight and became tilted. I later learned that my HOA rules would only allow gray or white and in the backyard and I had ordered a green and it was in my front yard :-( . Otherwise, it would have been great.
Hi Lisa,
I am glad you like the Shade-A-Rella for your birdbath. You mention you are concerned about the rod not being strong enough. It is a solid steel rod, more than a 1/4 inch thick with a 6' long fork that goes into the ground and the shade cloth holder is only 1 lb. So that rod could hold something much heavier and still remain upright. I am going to guess that your ground is not as firm as it could be and that might be why it is tilted? Or, you could make sure that the cantilevered shade cloth holder is positioned in line with the fork so it is leaning into one of the legs rather than leaning toward the sides that don't have a leg.
I am sorry the HOA is so tough and won't allow you a green circle shade-a-rella in your front yard. A lot of people get the green because it acts kind of like camoflage and isn't very noticable, especially if positioned flat so the profile is only .25' . I hope you can put a birdbath in your back yard and maybe the HOA won't notice it...
My plant shade is beautiful. One part arrived bent, but customer service was great—a replacement was sent right away. If you have a struggling plant, I definitely recommend Shade-A-Rella shades.
This is a well-made product. Sturdy. Works great.
