Too small to be effective in shading a plant.

Hi Ann,
I am sorry to hear that the small 10 inch turtle isn't shading the plant you wanted to shade. These are meant for small plants like those in window boxes or in containers and are meant to shade for only a few hours of the day, not all day. We have the 24' versions for bigger plants.

Intense relief

Love these little guys! Ended up buying 2 small turtles but he piggybacked them and they work great. Please be aware that the smaller versions do not just poke in the ground; but he made them work. I bought them for a plant I received in the mail a month ago but had to nurse it back to health. Had to place in the ground but was very concerned about intense afternoon sun. These were exactly what the doctor ordered! Please, Shade-A-Rella, provide a step-on version of the smaller size. My first purchase but definitely not my last. Thank you! 🌱
